Red Sea
The photos on this page were shot during a ten day liveaboard cruise in the Red Sea back in 2020. The trip spanned from Marsa Alam in Egypt down to Port Sudan in Sudan, exploring reefs along the way such as Port Ghalib, Sanganeb Marine National Park in Sudan, Gota el Banna, Angarosh, Merlo Pinnacle, Pfeiffer reef, Abu Sejf, Big Gota- St John Reef.
Just outside of Port Sudan we dived the wreck of the SS Umbria which is a magnificent wreck still loaded with its cargo of bombs, car and military spares.
We also dived on the Conshelf II at Shaáb Rumi, where Jacques Cousteau conducted his underwater living experiments in the 60s.
